Boosting Our Tourism Attractions The Property Council of Australia is putting its support behind the Litchfield Park infrastructure upgrades that have gone to tender.Property Council NT Director Ruth Palmer said the $10.43 million investment is much needed for the Litchfield area to increase Tourism activity. “The Property Council supports infrastructure projects for upgrading Litchfield National Park,” Ms Palmer said. “The tourism industry plays a vital role in the Territory economy and we need to ensure we continue to make our parks attractive for local, interstate and international visitors. “Tourism and the Property industry are closely linked with infrastructure projects being undertaken by those in the property industry. “The upgrades will see new campsites, more amenities, and an increase to car parking spaces which will be able to cater for the expected tourism spike.” These upgrades and infrastructure spend play an important role on the development of North Australia. “These projects help support our economy and will provide jobs to local businesses and contractors.” For further information on Tenders go to https://tendersonline.nt.gov.au/Tender/ListCurrent Media contact: Ruth Palmer | M 04 428 314 | E [email protected]
