The State Opposition has created a taskforce to identify and address the challenge of managing population growth for Victoria.
The Victorian Population Taskforce will explore ways to assist, incentivise and work with businesses, communities and local councils to regionalise population growth and take pressure off Melbourne.
Asher Judah, Deputy Executive Director at the Property Council of Australia has been appointed to the Taskforce, along with other experts from areas such as demography, urban planning and development.
The findings of the Taskforce will be used to inform policies to be presented before the next State Election.
