Karen is a studio director at Bates Smart’s Melbourne studio, where over the past decade she has created a lasting impact on the way people and communities engage with the practice’s designs. Karen has been instrumental in the delivery of complex projects including Collins House, Capital Grand, Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street and Box Hill Central North. Karen’s extensive international experience has also enabled her to adeptly engage with clients looking to enter the Australian market. Karen sits on the board and juries for the Council for Tall Buildings Australia, is a member of the Property Council’s Build to Rent Group and judges the Bates Smart Graduate Prize at the University of Melbourne.
