As the Diversity and Inclusion Director reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and implementing strategic plans to promote diversity and inclusion within the Property Council. Your responsibilities will also extend to developing programs aimed at enhancing employee understanding of inclusion issues. By leading the design, development, and implementation of programs, you will contribute significantly to the Property Council’s diversity and inclusion strategy, ultimately shaping a workplace and industry that values and embraces diversity. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Strategic planning: develop and execute strategic plans to promote diversity within the Property Council.
  • Program development: lead the design, development, and implementation of programs that foster a more inclusive and diverse workplace.
  • Employee engagement: enhance employee understanding of inclusion issues through targeted initiatives and communication strategies.
  • Leadership: take the lead in driving the Property Council’s diversity and inclusion strategy, ensuring alignment with our organisational goals
  • Support the Chief Executive as the Co-Program Director of the Property Champions of Change

Minimum essential criteria for the role: 

  • To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with an interest in diversity and inclusion initiatives, strategic planning, and program development. 
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams are essential.
