The Property Council’s Capital Markets Division was established to champion strong and transparent real estate capital markets through our advocacy, thought leadership and networking opportunities.

For many years, the Division’s flagship networking event has been the Property Leaders’ Summit, an invitation only event that connects senior property investment professionals from around the globe with Australia’s political leaders.

With a growing cohort of capital markets, funds management and investment professionals, there is pent-up demand for a unique forum to connect members in this space to share, learn, collaborate and network with each other.

The Capital Markets Forum has been developed to provide networking opportunities, thought leadership and professional development for capital markets and investment focused industry professionals.

This Forum is only open to the Property Council’s Capital Markets Division members and will suit the key decision makers in the capital markets and investment space such as Fund Managers and Heads of Investment.

The Capital Markets Forum is a one-day conference, held on Wednesday 29 October 2025 at Crown Sydney.

The program will encompass the drivers behind capital allocation decisions, from the macro-economic outlook to real estate specific trends and opportunities.

The event will include extensive networking breaks throughout the day, including a keynote dinner, to maximise opportunities to reconnect with colleagues and form new relationships.

This event is strictly limited, and is on a first come, first served basis. We encourage everyone to book their tickets sooner rather than later.

Capital markets and investment focused industry professionals can expect immersion in new perspectives while gaining fresh outlooks on business. Maximise your professional development, take advantage of networking opportunities, and build long-lasting connections with domestic and international investors, heads of real estate, heads of capital, fund managers and portfolio managers from leading property and investor groups.
