The leaders of the state’s two major political parties went head to head in the first #TasVotes Preferred Leaders Debate prior to Tasmanians going to the polls on March 23.
Speaking at the Property Council/TCCI debate at Hobart’s Henry Jones Hotel, both Liberal leader Jeremy Rockliff and Labor’s Rebecca White covered a lot of ground during the one hour debate.
Both parties said they would not strike any deals by trading cabinet positions with other parties or independents- while focusing on healthcare, their suite of housing policies, and both parties stadium stance.
