Property Council SA and its members gathered for a powerful and meaningful Reconciliation Week Breakfast.
As we reflect on this year’s theme, Bridging Now to Next, we were reminded that reconciliation is not a one-week commitment, but a year-round responsibility for all of us in the property industry and beyond.
We were honoured to be joined by inspiring speakers who shared stories, truths, and calls to action, challenging us to listen deeply, walk together, and do the work required to build genuine partnerships with First Nations peoples and the property industry.
A special thanks to:
– Jakirah Telfer for a moving Welcome to Country
– The Hon. Kyam Maher MLC for providing a warm welcome address
– Leeroy Bilney for an inspiring keynote address and panel discussion
– Jessica MacDonald for masterfully moderating the panel discussion
– Charlene Davison for her thoughtful contribution to the panel discussion
– Dale Agius for offering his experience to the panel discussion
– Bruce Djite for providing a steady hand as the MC
The Property Council were honoured to have the GO Foundation – The Goodes O’Loughlin Foundation as our Charity Partner for the day and thank you again to Charlene for your engagement, participation and support for this event.
We were also very grateful for the involvement of TSA Riley, who were the Door Prize Partner for the event – thank you for supporting us and the industry today.
Let’s continue to create spaces, both physical and cultural, that celebrate and embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices.
