Yesterday, we hosted our Pride in Property Lunch at the iconic Fullerton Hotel Sydney – a celebration of visibility, authenticity and community.
We were thrilled to welcome the incredible Carla from Bankstown – drag queen, viral sensation and unapologetically bold voice in Australian pop culture. From her TV stints on Celebrity Apprentice and Space Invaders to her powerful personal story, Carla reminded us all of the strength that comes from embracing who you are.
Through laughter, honesty and resilience, Carla took us on a journey from growing up as a bullied kid in Bankstown to becoming one of Australia’s most recognised and celebrated drag performers. Her storytelling was raw, hilarious and deeply moving – an unforgettable experience for everyone in the room.
We were proud to partner with Qtopia Sydney, Australia’s largest centre for Queer History and Culture. Thanks to your support, $10 from every ticket went toward preserving and celebrating LGBTQIA+ stories and identities.
