NSW International Women’s Day Lunch

Among the many lessons we learned at our International Women’s Day Lunch was that we all have a role to play in the journey towards diversity, equity and inclusion — some of us have a role to teach, and others to listen.

In the words of our brilliant keynote speaker, writer and disability activist Hannah Diviney, “We love the idea of progress but if you really look at where the needle needs to move… we’ve got to do better. That means having hard conversations; it means walking around thinking about what other people might be going through.”

Following the keynote was a wide-ranging panel discussion moderated by Property Council of Australia Council CEO Mike Zorbas. Conversation touched on everything from what effective role modelling looks like in the workplace, to considering broader definitions of diversity, to the drawbacks of (literal) revolving doors. Thank you to Amy Menere (Mirvac), Camille Jasson (The APP Group), Lisa Atkins (Knight Frank) and Hannah Diviney.

And of course a huge thank you to Knight Frank, our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Partner for 2024-25.
