From the outer-suburban hub to the inner-metro spoke, industrial property is an asset class like no other. Productivity is king, customers have bespoke needs, the market is diverse and complex, and excellence in design is achievable but should not come at the expense of our economic competitiveness.
Our members took note of the NSW Government infrastructure program to deliver greenfield sites at Mamre Road with Stage 1 imminent and Stage 2 provided for in the Budget. A special thumbs-up to Phillip Birtles of Sydney Water for joining the tour as the industry continues to navigate a challenging stormwater management environment to enable the next wave of development.
