Hunter Lunch | High speed, high stakes – the transformative impact of fast rail

Home Galleries Hunter Lunch | High speed, high stakes – the transformative impact of fast rail

On the 20 September Graham Nelmes from the High Speed Rail Authority (Australia) presented on the transformative opportunities that will flow from a high speed rail link between Newcastle and Sydney.

Our expert panellists, Sharon Claydon, Anna Cruckshank and moderator Steven Bartlett, then discussed issues including station locations, construction challenges and the political will of the Federal Government to commit to the project.

We also awarded and applauded the winners of the Hunter Girls in Property program – a big congrats to the team from Whitebridge high school.
