The Property Council welcomed just over 150 property professionals to the Future Directions Professional Pursuits Sundowner, a record number of attendees for a future directions event and a remarkable success!
The event kicked off with a captivating keynote from Alison Beamish (Brookfield Properties) as she shared her illustrious career in Property, from commencing as a Team Assistant to her current role as State Manager of Brookfield Properties. Her career serves as a reminder of the boundless opportunities within the industry.
Following that, Julie Drago (Realside Ovest), Alwin Bax (Perron Group), Megan Adair (Satterley Property Group), and Angelo Amara (JLL) then took to the stage with moderator Nathan Varma (DevelopmentWA). The discussion covered a range of topics including key learnings throughout their careers, work-life balance, the significance of networking for young property professionals, and the importance of aligning career goals with personal values.
