The property industry united for the UN Women’s global 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence Campaign.
The joint initiative with the Champions of Change Coalition and Full Stop Australia addressed the impact of domestic and family violence in the workplace, and how the workplace can support employees and embed conversations about gender equality and respect.
Australia’s Minister for Social Services, Hon Amanda Rishworth MP, delivered the keynote address followed by a panel of leaders including Andrew Hinchliff, Anthony Boyd, Campbell Hanan and Karen Bevan moderated by Elizabeth Broderick AO.
As the nation’s largest employer, the property sector has critical role to play in ending gender-based violence.
