The event was kicked-off with a keynote from new RAAFA CEO Michelle Fyfe. Michelle emphasised the important and understated role that retirement villages play in supporting senior members of the WA community, and challenged guests to continue to be vocal advocates for the sector.
Attendees were then provided with an overview of the 2022 Property Council/PWC Retirement Living Census by Keyton CEO Nathan Cockerill and Retirement Living Council Executive Director Daniel Gannon. Nathan and Daniel analysed how the census data reflects emerging trends and challenges within WA’s retirement living sector and shared how operators were using the data to shape business planning.
