Jim Hazel and Charlotte Vidor AM have tonight been inducted into the Australian Property Hall of Fame thanks to their tireless leadership and remarkable achievements.

The Australian Property Hall of Fame honours individuals who have provided sustained leadership, made a major pioneering contribution, and left an outstanding legacy to the property industry and the Australian community.

Property Council Chief Executive Mike Zorbas said the induction of Mr Hazel and Ms Vidor into the Australian Property Hall of Fame was in recognition of their pioneering efforts in their respective fields.

“Both Jim and Charlotte have played tremendously influential roles in the industry,” Mr Zorbas.

“Without their remarkable leadership, retirement villages and serviced apartments would not have achieved the level of success they enjoy today.

Senior industry leaders paid tribute to both recipients at the Property Council of Australia’s Property Hall of Fame Gala Dinner, sponsored by Commonwealth Bank. Held in the Great Hall of Parliament House this evening, it was a fitting backdrop to showcase the life and achievements of these property legends.

Both Jim and Charlotte delivered incredibly moving speeches which left the audience in awe (and a few tears!) of their impact and contribution to the property industry at large and the many individuals they have mentored along the way.
