The Property Council has made a submission to Planning Panels Victoria on the proposed State Planning Panel Policy Framework.
The State Planning Policy Framework Advisory Committee was formed by the Minister for Planning to report on the review of the State Planning Policy framework and its alignment with the changes to state policy including the release of Plan Melbourne and the new Regional Growth Plans (some of which are still in draft form).
In its submissions, the Property Council outlined its concerns relating to the structure of the document and its useability, the new content and the proposed addition of local policy to the high level document.
The Property Council submission shows examples of how we envision the content and format may be improved to achieve the Advisory Committee’s objectives of useability and ease of navigation.
