Following release of the Draft Hunter Regional Plan and Draft Plan for Growing Hunter City, we immediately established the Hunter Growth Taskforce – a local industry brains trust – to advise government on best practice regional planning.
The Taskforce has been resourced to commission independent research and consult widely with business and community leaders on strategic priorities for the Hunter.
The Taskforce made a comprehensive submission to the NSW Government built on the intellectual capital and extensive experience of our membership.
Our submission was validated by independent research and grounded in truth by the key market insights of our members. Briefings were subsequently conducted with the Minister’s office and senior public service executives.
