The State Government has released a summary of key findings from its flawed engagement on the internal design and amenity of new apartments.
The Better Apartments Public Engagement Report tables feedback to a discussion paper released in mid-2015, which invited comments on various issues affecting amenity such as daylight, sunlight, outlook, space, natural ventilation, noise, outdoor space, adaptability, landscape, universal design, energy and resources, waste, car parking and entry/circulation.
The Property Council provided its own comments to the consultation which called for greater attention around the link between design standards and affordability.
