Lydia Badoer

I am currently a Senior Consultant in Indirect Tax at EY. I studied Arts and Law at Monash University, where I first developed an interest in Property Law and subsequently tutored in the subject whilst completing my degree. I moved to Perth in 2014 and joined the Graduate program at EY. I have been involved in several property matters involving Indirect Tax, including margin scheme and Stamp Duty issues. The Property Council in particular attracts me due to its committment to diversity. I found the "Breaking stereotypes: insights from women leaders in property" report fascinating, and the results of the surveys as well as excerpts from females in leadership roles motivated me to get involved in the Property Council. I am keen to participate in events and meet property industry counterparts, as well as encourage and inspire other females to reach their potential and become leaders in their field.
