You be the judge!

The Property Council of Australia NT Division is thrilled that one of our own Territory projects is a finalist in the Property Council National Awards for Best Public Building.

The National Innovation & Excellence Awards is one of the most prestigious property awards programs in Australia.

These awards have been promoting excellence in design and innovation since 1982.

The awards aim to showcase superior examples of iconic projects in property development across the country.

We are thrilled that the NT Division has a finalist in the Best Public Building category, The Alice Springs Supreme Court & Commercial Precinct, by Property Council members, Sitzler Construction.

The project includes 2 large court rooms with a large public waiting and gathering area positioned between the courts. The courts are supported by the judge’s chambers, legal practitioners offices, secure jury rooms and vulnerable witness facilities.

This award recognises excellence in a new or refurbished public building.” Ms Palmer added.

A public building is a building used for public visitation or occupied for the delivery of services to the community (whether or not it is owned by government) such as (but not limited to) healthcare, education, community facilities, sporting facilities, public infrastructure, art gallery or museum.

This is a huge opportunity for the NT to put a landmark project on the map of excellence.

Voting is also currently open for the People’s Choice Award and it would be great to see this project take the gong along with Best Public Building -
