Support for the Property Council

The property and construction industry is one of our nation’s economic strengths. It is responsible for growing jobs, building stronger communities and contributing so much to the national economy.

The Property Council of Australia advocates on behalf of those who invest, own and develop property, as well as the businesses that help build our communities.

The Hon Tony Abbott MP – Former Prime Minister of Australia

Buildcorp has enjoyed a long-standing partnership with the Property Council of Australia, who as the property industry’s peak body has been the voice for the sector for many years.

I have personally been involved with the PCA Women in Property Committee in NSW since its inception. Their leadership to address the paucity of women in the sector has been exemplary and meaningful.

More broadly for the last 25 years Buildcorp has benefited from its association with the PCA and look forward to a continued, mutually rewarding relationship.

Josephine Sukkar – Principal, Buildcorp Group

The Property Council has proven a clear and consistent voice for good policy, both on behalf of its industry but also the broader needs of this city and NSW as a whole.

It actively promotes the case for economic growth, modern infrastructure and stronger cities and regions.

As we set about rebuilding NSW, the Government looks forward to continued collaboration with the Property Council on solutions that help build a platform for jobs, investment and prosperity in NSW.

The Hon Mike Baird MP – Premier of New South Wales

The Property Council of Australia delivers a holistic viewpoint through their events, advocacy, research and networking opportunities – all of which are an important part of how futurespace enhances our clients’ lives and business through the spaces we design.

I have attended Property Council Australia events since very early in my career and have always found these events to be highly informative, profoundly relevant and terrific networking opportunities. We look forward to participating in all that the Property Council has to offer for many years to come.

Angela Ferguson - Managing Director, futurespace

The Property Council is a highly regarded industry peak body that continues to advocate for ongoing reforms that help build a strong economy.

The Property Council works closely with Government to identify opportunities to unlock investment potential, generate jobs and create a strong future for South Australians.

Jay Weatherill MP – Premier of South Australia

Since joining the Property Council, Cbus Property has seen our membership translate into some powerful and tangible benefits through key policy wins across the tax and planning reform areas. The reduction in the Fire Service Property Levy rates in 2014 and the creation of the Metropolitan Planning Authority have been key wins which have made business easier to transact in Victoria.

We encourage all Cbus Property employees to attend Property Council events and conferences as these are important in building strong partnerships with key figures in the property industry.

Mark Ford – Chairman, Cbus Property

We greatly value our opportunity to connect with the Property Council to be a strong voice within our industry. Our partnership enhances our ability to develop relationships, networks and contribute positively to the property sector.

Adrian Fratelle - Director, Fratelle Group and Kylee Schoonens – Director, Fratelle Group

The Tasmanian Government welcomes the Property Council of Australia’s new strategy direction. It’s strong focus on prosperity, community and jobs aligns with my government’s long term Plan for a Brighter Future, where jobs are the number one priority.

We look forward to continuing to work with the Property Council on key reforms in planning and local government with the goal of making Tasmania the best place in Australia to live, work and invest.

Will Hodgman MP – Premier of Tasmania

Our long-standing partnership with Property Council is invaluable as the leading advocate for the property and professional services industry, and we look forward to continuing it. We also actively support their stance to champion the need for more women into leadership roles.
