Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will learn:
  • The key components of Mental Wellbeing

  • Causes and effects of Stress

  • Ways to cope with Stress and how to offer support to others

  • How to recognise Anxiety and Panic Attacks

  • How to recognise other common anxiety disorders

  • Ways to manage Anxiety

  • How to recognise the warning signs of Depression and how to guide people to support


Designed for
This awareness course is designed to provide employees and employers with a well  rounded knowledge of mental illness. It is intended to be used as a general awareness  and refresher course to encourage awareness of mental health issues and how best to  respond in guiding people to professional support.  

Outcomes
On successful completion of this course employees will have the necessary information to be able to provide basic first aid response to accidents and medical emergencies.
