National Events

The Property Council of Australia hosts a full calendar of over 350 events nationwide every year, attracting over 50,000 members and guests. These include division lunches, conferences, forums, site tours and awards ceremonies designed to inform, educate, celebrate, inspire and provide members with quality networking opportunities to generate new business.

In 2020, COVID-19 had a big impact on the Property Council’s ability to deliver face-to-face events for members, and since early March 2020 has delivered a range of online events, while planning face-to-face and hybrid events for late 2020 and beyond.

Our events help generate and communicate the ideas and policies that shape the Property Council's advocacy work, providing our members the opportunity to discuss those issues most important to them. All sectors - commercial, residential, retirement, retail, industrial and capital markets - are represented in our dynamic programs.

Our events also highlight and celebrate the leading economic and social contribution the property industry makes throughout Australia. We recognise innovation and world-leading best practice in the work our members do.

Our conferences and event delegates include institutional investors, developers, builders, planners, government and property professionals from all states and territories.

International Study Tours - JAPAN & NORTH AMERICA

To further strengthen our public policy thought leadership, the Property Council has extending our event reach internationally. Building on the professionalism of our domestic events, our international study tours are designed to inform, educate, inspire and provide members with quality networking opportunities to generate new business. International cities and tour themes are selected through extensive consultation with our members to deliver unparalleled professional development learnings relevant to the opportunities and challenges faced by the Australian property industry.

In 2019, we have taken our delegates to Singapore (17-22 March 2019) and headed to London in Ju
ly (19-26 July 2019).
In 2020, delegates will have the opportunity to Vancouver and Seattle in August.

THE JAPAN STUDY TOUR FROM 15-21 MARCH 2020 HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL 2021.

UPDATE 27 February 2020: The Japan Study Tour from 15-21 March 2020 has been postponed until 2021 following the upgrading of the Australian Government’s travel advice to ‘exercise a high degree of caution’ in Japan due to a heightened risk of sustained local transmission of coronavirus.

The Property Council of Australia’s top priority is the safety of staff and delegates. If you have registered for the tour, please contact Sophie Gazzoli on sgazzoli@propertycouncil.com.au, 02 9033 1930 or 0438 311 789 for further information.
