26 years of economic growth
Next week the Property Council takes the industry’s leaders to Parliament House in Canberra.
The annual Property Leaders’ Summit brings together senior property and political figures to discuss the issues we have in common.
Australia’s cities need to be liveable, affordable and serviced with better infrastructure – and they need to be supported with sound energy policies. And our industry needs to be free to create the prosperity, jobs and strong communities which the country relies on.
The Summit allows parliamentarians from all political parties to hear from domestic and international investors about their thoughts on Australia’s economic performance.
One of the areas of discussion will be the importance of foreign investment.
Australia is entering its 26th year of economic growth and one of the drivers of this growth has been foreign investment.
Foreign investment helps build the infrastructure, offices, shopping centres, hotels and housing that our country needs. This investment creates jobs, increases national income, and contributes significantly to the bottom line of all levels of government.
This important contribution will be showcased in new research to be released next week in the nation’s capital. Stay tuned for more details in the next edition.
