Our Productive City: Brisbane’s Industrial Future
The Property Council provided industry feedback on Brisbane City Council’s Our Productive City: Brisbane’s Industrial Future which has been developed to guide the use of industrial land over the next ten years. We will keep members updated when the finalised industrial strategy is released, expected in late 2021.

Response to Moreton Bay Planning Scheme Amendment Proposed Caboolture West Local Plan Neighbourhood Development Plan No.1 (NDP1).
Recently the Property Council provided industry feedback on proposed planning scheme amendments relating to the Caboolture West Local Plan Neighbourhood Development Plan No.1 (NDP1). These amendments have been proposed in response to the State Government’s announcement that Caboolture West will be the first pilot site for the Growth Areas Team.
The Property Council has welcomed the Council’s willingness to increase maximum site cover from 50 to 60 percent and minor changes to the carparking requirements, allowing tandem in specific circumstances.
Moreton Bay Regional Council will now seek the Planning Minister’s approval to adopt the proposed amendments. The Property Council will continue to keep you updated on the progress of these amendments being approved.
