Young people in property kick up their heels...
PROPERTY COUNCIL OF
AUSTRALIA - 5 December 2005
The Queensland Future
Directions: young people in property hosted their biggest
ever Christmas celebration earlier this month. 170 of the
industry’s youth turned out at the GPO hotel in Fortitude
Valley to kick up their heels and say goodbye to 2005.
The final Future Directions event for the year, marks the
“changing of the guard” for the Future Directions Committee.
Inaugural committee Chair, Jennifer Robertson of Corrs
Chambers Westgarth handed over her crown to the 2004
Property Council of Australia Young Achiever of the Year and
long standing committee member, Ian Devereux of Bovis Lend
Lease for 2006 and beyond.
In 2005 the Future Directions: young people in property
hosted nine networking events including six cocktail
evenings, its third annual lawn bowls tournament and its
inaugural day out at the races – all of which were hugely
successful events.
The Property Council sincerely thanks Jennifer for her hard
work and contribution over the many years and wishes her
every success for the future.
