14 MAY 2011 SYDNEY CONVENTION & EXHIBITION CENTRE
THE INDUSTRY'S NIGHT OF NIGHTS
Saturday 14 May was truly the industry's night of nights where Australia's top developments, projects and professionals were acknowledged and celebrated for their outstanding achievements.
While it is a night to celebrate the best of the property industry, the Property Council of Australia/Rider Levett Bucknall Innovation and Excellence Awards is also a glittering evening of entertainment, mingling, great food and, of course, dancing. Over 600 people congregated at the Parkside Ballroom at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre on Saturday, 14 May, to toast the winners of 15 categories and the Australian Development of the Year before partying the night away.
With property neophyte Andrew Daddo presiding over the evening as MC, the awards ceremony got off to a roaring start with a spellbinding performance by Soul Mystique. Latin American & Ballroom Dance Sport professionals Gavin and Lydia held the attendees in awe as they danced through one magical costume transformation after another.
While guests dined on delicious entrees, mains and desserts, awards were presented in a variety of categories, celebrating innovation and excellence within property.
And Linda Hunt and Band made sure the night didn't end following the presentation of the final award, belting out 70s disco tracks that had guests on the dance floor until midnight.
