FAQs

How do I enter the Awards?

Nominating for the Awards is simple! Initially all we require is the completion of the official nomination form accompanied by a brief synopsis. From there nominations will be short-listed and those successful nominees will be invited to prepare and lodge a full submission addressing all criteria.

What do I need to include in the synopsis?

The synopsis should give the judges a brief overview of the development and its key features and components. The synopsis should show the judges why the development is a worthy contender for the Awards. The synopsis should briefly explain:

- Where the development is located
- The key components of the development
- The key elements that contributes to the developmentís innovation and excellence
- Why the development is a worthy contender for the Awards

Are all developments eligible?

The owner and nominator of the development must be a member company of the Property Council of Australia.

The property investment award categories require the development to have been operational for at least 12 months plus completed within the past 5 years.

Please note the same development can be entered into more than one category in the same year, i.e. an office development can be entered in both the Office and Sustainable Development categories provided they meet the judging criteria. A development that has not previously won an award may be nominated for more than one year.

Do I need to be a member company to enter?

Yes, nominations will only be accepted if the owner or nominator of the development are member company's of the Property Council of Australia.
