ENTRY & JUDGING

Eligibility

The WA Innovation & Excellence Awards are open to any new development or refurbishment completed in the previous five years.

Please note that nominations will only be accepted from member companies of the Property Council of Australia. Both the nominator and the owner of the development must be member companies in Western Australia.

Entry Process

All entrants are required to complete and submit a Nomination Form .pdf or .doc , along with a single A4 page synopsis on how the project meets the relevant judging criteria. There is no fee associated with this process. All forms must be submitted by 5:00pm on Friday 25th September.

All nominations will then be reviewed for compliance with eligibility requirements and formally requested to submit a Full Entry Form and Submission by 5:00pm on Friday 6th November, 2009.

Judging

Entries will be judged by a panel of industry experts in mid-November. Judging will be undertaken by reviewing the submission together with a site visit. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the result.

Sub-category winners within size classifications for Retail Property of the Year will be formally announced at a Cocktail Event on Friday 5 February, 2010. Overall category winners, and Retail Property of the Year will be announced at the Gala Presentation Event on Friday 12 March, 2010.
