    NEW DIMENSIONS
  • 10Unveil the case for
    growth

Powerhouse 3D will counter Australia's emerging anti-growth sentiment.

Australians deserve sharper strategic policy-making from their leaders.

We'll pioneer honest and frank conversations with the Australian community to better explain the benefits of managed growth (and the downsides of stagnation).

The starting point is a longer-term view of our nation's opportunities and challenges.

We can then discuss pathways to shaping economic growth that enhance our social and natural assets – for current and future generations of Australians.

The Powerhouse 3D strategy commits to a major investment in thinking about 21st century nation-building strategies.

    Thinking that leads to action.

    Matthew Quinn
After 30 years of state planning and infrastructure deficits, we are in danger of becoming a nation that fears even sustainable growth.
We need all three levels of government to work together. We need a national urban strategy, a national population strategy, infrastructure delivery ahead of urban growth and government for the greater good, not the latest focus group.
