This three-day course teaches participants the methodologies of making sound retail decisions. Using a case study approach, participants will face the challenge of making a recommendation to the owner on how to enhance the investment potential of their retail property.
PRE-REQUISITE: Participants will need to have completed the Retail Property Essentials course or have a minimum of three years' experience in a retail management role.
AIM: The aim of this course is to hone your business skills to enhance the performance of the management team.
LEARNING OUTCOME: The objectives are the develop insight into the drivers of retail property performance, explore how to effectively apply business concepts to a retail and retailer context, and enhance your key management skills.
By the end of this course you should be able to contribute more effectively to the investment performance of the retail property and the performance of the tenants. You will have a sound understanding of retail market trends, tenancy mix and precincting.
